Androx-Q12 contains four substances which directly influence and increase your testosterone production, each with a different but complementary mechanism of action.
Androx-Q12 contains a full dose of Testofen®.
Testofen is a standardized extract of a proprietary and well defined mix of Fenugreek saponins. Fenugreek contains Protodioscin, Pseudo Protodioscin, Gracillin, Protogracillin, Diosgenin, Dioscin and many other saponins and sapogenins. Many of these other saponins are not identified yet.
The typical Fenuside® – mix in Testofen® guarantees for a well established and documented activity.
Testofen™ has demonstrated the following in a double blind, randomized, placebo controlled human clinical study of 60 subjects.
- Promotes healthy free Testosterone levels in the active group of subjects by 98%
- Promotes healthy muscle mass
- Helps regulating BUN [Blood Urea Nitrogen] levels in the active group of participants, signifying regulation in protein catabolism
Androx-Q12 contains living lactobacilli
Many saponins, especially Diosgenin, cannot be absorbed directly by our body but need a metabolisation through bacteria living in our intestinal channel (probiotics, lactobacilli). Androx-Q12 contains 5 billion living Lactobacillus casei increasing dramatically the bioavailability of the Fenosides present in Testofen and so taking care for a maximum of result.
Avena sativa extract
A Japanese study confirmed that Avena extract is capable of increasing the production of the Luteininzing Hormone (LH) which in man stimulates the production of testosterone. This mechanism is complementary with the activity of Testofen and so increasing the transition of diosgenin into testosterone.
Spinach leave extract
Spinach leaves are a source of β-ecdyson, an ecdysteroid having protein anabolic effect in men. In a recent study consisting of 78 athletes, those taking a combination of ecdysterone and protein were tested against a placebo group. At the end of 10 days, the supplement group experienced a 6-7% lean mass gain and a 9-10% reduction in body fat levels.Other studies have pointed to ecdysterone’s ability to increase performance and reduce fatigue. Ecdysterone also has the ability to increase testosterone production and so is the third mechanism present in Androx-Q12 to improve testosterone production. By doing so, ecdysterone has the capability of improving overall sexual function. In one clinical study, ecdysterone was administered for 10 days, and after that time, sexual function was improved in the ecdysterone group.
2. Testosterone stabilizing ingredients
ZMA – complex
Zinc and Magnesium are very beneficial for your natural testosterone levels. Intense lifting and exercising are depleting zinc and magnesium levels which can lead to lowering testosterone levels. So, ZMA is not increasing testosterone levels but are necessary for maintaining a healthy and natural production of it.
Vitamins B6 and B12
For men, Vitamin B6 is necessary in maintaining normal levels of testosterone because it regulates the balance of androgen production. It is also an important vitamin because it is needed in protein metabolism as well as red blood cell metabolism. Vit B6 also is necessary for the activity of Zinc in our body. A few years ago a study on footballers confirmed that a combination of Zinc and vit B6 was capable in increasing the testosterone levels.
A recent German study found that Vit B12 has direct androgenic properties
3. Anti – DHT agents
Testosterone is naturally converted into dihydrotestosterone (DHT).. DHT is a powerful androgenic hormone compared to Testosterone which is a anabolic Testosterone is responsible for the development of the male sexual organs, the production of sperm, increasing muscle mass and the mineralization of the bones. These are anabolic effects.
DHT however is responsible forincreasing hair growth on the body, acne during puberty, baldness on later age and prostate hyperplasia. These are androgenic effects and are not wanted.
Saw Palmetto blocks the enzyme 5-alfa-reductase which is responsible for this transition and so safeguards the testosterone threshold.
Stinging nettle root can help to naturally boost testosterone levels by keeping the testosterone molecule free from a carrier protein known as sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). While SHBG helps testosterone stay in the blood longer, it also prevents it from binding with its specific receptors in muscle cells. By freeing up testosterone from SHBG, you’ll experience higher levels of free testosterone in the body, which can induce muscle growth.
Stinging nettle root also helps boost T levels by preventing its conversion to dihydrotestosterone.
Finally stinging nettles contain 3,4-divanillyltetrahydrofuran which directly can influence the testosterone production.
4. Adaptogenic plants
Siberian Ginseng Is a complete adaptogenic plant. It counters fatigue and brings back energy. It is known to strength the body, boost energy levels and has immune-enhancing abilities.Siberian Ginseng also enhances male and female fertility and lessens male impotence. Siberian ginseng promotes healthy uterine function and may be useful in preventing female infertility. Males will notice an increased sperm count. It can increase testosterone levels and reverse certain cases of male impotence.
5. Piperine – black pepper extract
Piperine increases the absorption and bioavailability of many substances, mainly of vitamins and minerals, like demonstrated hereunder for vitamin B6.
Piperine also blocks the activity of the Cytochrome
Take 3 capsules per day, between the meals.
Contains plant sterols. Not suitables for for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under the age of 14.
